We are seeking to fill the following position:

Water Resources Engineer: The role of the Water Resources Engineer is to apply knowledge, skills, education, and experience to solve challenging problems in the fields of hydrology, hydraulics, water resource planning, system analysis, and decision support systems. In this full-time position in our Sacramento office, the staff engineer will complete hydrologic and hydraulic studies, including modeling, floodplain analyses, and planning studies; manage and analyze data; apply and develop analytical methods and tools to arrive at innovative solutions to complex problems; draft technical reports; supervise junior engineers and support staff; and manage projects from the proposal stage to completion.

Requirements:
•    Bachelors degree (or higher) in civil engineering or closely related engineering field
•    Masters degree preferred
•    California registration as a Professional Engineer
•    3 or more years related work experience
•    Proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic system computer modeling programs (HEC programs a plus)
•    Effective written and verbal communication skills
•    Project management experience
