It is with great pleasure that we invite you, your co-workers, and your guests to the tenth annual ASCE Charity Golf Tournament. This year’s tournament will be held Monday, July 28, 2008, at Rancho Murieta Country Club. This half-day event includes lunch, a scramble format tournament on the beautiful North Course, and dinner. It’s a great opportunity to golf,  meet others in the engineering and construction community, and support the local chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Last year's tournament sold out, so please register early to ensure a spot in this event. We look forward to having you as a sponsor and seeing you at the tournament.

As in previous years, the net proceeds will go to support the local chapter of Make-A-Wish (www.makeawish-sacto.org). Last year’s tournament was made very successful through the generous donations from our  sponsors and players. We raised a near record amount of $15,000. Make-A-Wish used this money to grant wishes for local children between the ages of 2 ½ and 18 with life threatening medical conditions. This year our goal is to again raise over $15,000.

We ask that you continue the tradition of the tournament by showing your support in the following ways (both provide a full tax deduction):

• Become a hole sponsor ($350) – We’ll display your company’s logo on a sign at a course tee box, at the registration table, and on tournament instructions. Your firm will also be acknowledged at dinner and in the ASCE monthly newsletter.
  

• Donate raffle prizes or money for Make-A-Wish – We’ll display your company’s logo on the tournament instructions, and acknowledge your company during the raffle and in the ASCE monthly newsletter. Raffle prizes have ranged from gift cards to merchandise.

Finally, we encourage you to come out and be an active participant in the tournament. Rancho Murieta is a private course, usually open only to members. So, come on out and enjoy a wonderful day of golf at one of Northern California’s most beautiful golf courses (player cost is $130 including lunch and dinner) and help support the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Sacramento and Northeastern CA.
