The Construction Institute of the American Society of Civil Engineers, and the San Francisco Section of ASCE present "Student Days"
The Construction Institute of ASCE will be asking for volunteers to attend the Student Days program Friday through Sunday. ASCE is paying for transportation, meals, and lodging plus the bus tours are included. The Construction Institute will need YMF members to help keep the 200 students organized, Check In, networking, being a big brother or sister, etc.
20 to 25 YMF-ers will be needed to assist for “Student Days” events on all 3 days (September 26-28.) All those on the Student Days Committee (including “non-YMF-ers”) will be expected to assist. Those YMF-ers who will be assisting on the 3 days of the event will be provided free lodging at the Doubletree Hotel on Friday and/or Saturday.
The Construction Institute will be able to reimburse mileage at $.505/mile and hotel costs up to $100/night plus another $20 for miscellaneous expenses. The rate that is being negotiated at the Doubletree hotel is $119/night. We are not able to provide a meal per diem, but breakfast and lunch will be provided during the conference so dinner would be on your own.
