Who can join?

Anyone who qualifies to join National ASCE is welcome at our events. Our activities are geared to young engineers 35 years of age and younger. See our Events page to see where you can find us. New faces are welcome.

What does Sacramento YMF Do?

This local younger member group has been very active over the years and continues to be so. Each year we provide support to the local universities: University of the Pacific, UC Davis, Sacramento State, and Chico State. We also foster professional development through our technical presentations and tours. Our semi-annual review courses have prepared thousands of local engineers to take the professional engineer exam.

Our group is active in non-technical events as well. Each year we organize and host a golf tournament to raise money for the Make-A-Wish foundation. For each of the past 7 years, we have on average, donated $10,000 to the foundation and had over 100 golfers participate.

As you can see, we are an active group of young engineers in the Sacramento area. If you are a young engineer and are interested in becoming a member, please come to our next event and talk to a member. We're glad to have you.
